Terms of Use

Before this goes live
This draft follows standard practice for a UAE-based platform that curates and links to third-party offers. It is not legal advice and has not been reviewed by a lawyer. Sections marked [TODO] need real, verified information. Have a UAE-qualified lawyer review this in full, particularly the liability, dispute resolution, and governing law sections, before it is relied on.
Terms of Use
1. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using savaraworld.com or the Savara platform ("Savara," "we," "us"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform. These terms apply alongside our Privacy Policy.
2. What Savara is
Savara curates and lists offers, promotions, and experiences from third-party businesses ("Partners") across the UAE. We review Partners and offers before listing them, but Savara is not a party to the transaction between you and a Partner. The contract for any purchase, booking, or redemption is between you and the Partner directly, on the Partner's own terms.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Savara. By using the platform, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that you can form a binding contract.
4. Offers and redemption
Each offer page states its own price, terms, and redemption method. Offers are subject to availability and may be withdrawn, changed, or expire without notice, at the discretion of the Partner. We aim to keep listings accurate and current, and to remove offers that expire or no longer meet our standard, but we do not guarantee that every listing is error-free at every moment.
If an offer does not work as described, contact us through the contact page and we will investigate with the Partner. This does not replace your legal rights against the Partner directly.
5. Newsletter and communications
If you subscribe to the newsletter, you consent to receive periodic emails from us about curated offers and platform updates. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email or by contacting us directly. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your email address.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the platform. This includes not attempting to access it by any means other than the interface we provide, not interfering with its operation or security, not scraping or reproducing its content for commercial use without permission, and not using it for any unlawful purpose.
7. Intellectual property
The Savara name, logo, design, and original content on this platform belong to us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property law. Offer content, images, and descriptions supplied by Partners remain their property. Nothing in these terms grants you rights to use our branding without our written permission.
8. Third-party links
Savara may link to Partner websites or third-party services. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party site.
9. Disclaimer
Savara is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties, express or implied, about the platform's availability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose, or about any Partner or offer listed on it. [TODO: have a lawyer confirm this disclaimer is enforceable and appropriately scoped under UAE law.]
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Savara is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the platform or any offer or Partner listed on it. [TODO: this clause needs to be drafted and scoped by a lawyer, including any liability cap appropriate for the business and confirmation of what UAE law permits to be excluded or limited.]
11. Termination
We may suspend or restrict access to the platform for anyone who breaches these terms. You may stop using the platform at any time.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will update the date at the top of this page when we do. Continuing to use the platform after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. [TODO: confirm the specific emirate or free zone whose courts, or which arbitration body, will have jurisdiction — for example onshore UAE courts, DIFC Courts, or ADGM Courts — this depends on where the business is registered and should be set by a lawyer.]
